We moved the girls to toddler beds. First we set up one bed for Katie. Karly didn't want anything to do with it the first night, but the second she wanted to sleep with her sister. They slept this way all night.
The next day we bought and set up the second bed and the day after, I put them in their own beds and when I came back in, I saw this....so heartwarming and made me fall in love with them all over again.
Then we bought them big girl bedding. They have been sleeping in their big girl beds for 2 weeks and they are 18 months old on Thursday. Everyone thought I was nuts but Katie wouldn't sleep in the crib anymore and you have to listen to your children and your gut, right?
The girls are growing so fast, becoming so smart and are so beautiful. I don't think I could be any more blessed than I am right now.

Wow! Big girl beds!! That is great that they are ready. Looks like your girls are really close - too sweet! Wish mine would snuggle together. I think they'd beat each other up! :-)
So cute!! Maybe I need to follow suit and get Avery and Kaylee in their own beds. Avery still loves her crib and sleeps fine, but Kaylee will have NOTHING to do with it. Maybe it is time!!
